As Director of Western Canada, David is responsible for managing and overseeing the day to day operations of the Calgary Maplesoft Hawks Spring Development program. In addition, David also assists in the recruitment and servicing of Alberta based clients of CMG Sports Management, a division of Maplesoft Group that represents aspiring and current NHL hockey players.

A native of Calgary, David played midget AAA for the Notre Dame Hounds in Saskatchewan and moved on to play Junior A for the Calgary Canucks and Royals. After playing minor professional hockey in the United Hockey League, David attended St. Francis Xavier University where he played varsity hockey for the X-Men and graduated with a degree in political science.
